Markets

Markets have been a feature in St Ives since 1100. Although the famous cloth and cattle markets no longer exist, the town still has regular markets, held twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. The Monday market is normally bigger than those held on Fridays.

St Ives also has a Farmers Market that takes place on the first and third Saturday of each month. High quality local produce is available from 8.30am to 2.00pm. The Market was started in 2003 and was a FARMA Farmers' Market of the Year Finalist for three consecutive years before winning in 2015.

The most well known markets in St Ives are the Spring and August Bank Holiday markets, which are much bigger and have been drawing crowds from far and wide for many years.
